Be prepared for a lot of bad photos cos I was in a hurry to get this up here and took 'em right before bed.

School records. There's one of these for each month so I didn't bother taking photos of each month.I also cannot take credit for this fantastic & detailed school record. All credit must go to Yoko who taught Mia all last year and is missed terribly.
It was so difficult to choose which of her artwork to keep. I had dozens of pages to choose from and only kept @ 5 all together. This one is special because she drew it of Yoko (this is you Yoko, as your former pupil sees you!)
Photo pages!
These are the girls favourite things to look back over. I also add lots of photos for fun, not just school pix as they like to remember the fun times they had.
The most time consuming part of this was getting the photos together.

Big events, like Disney on Ice, have their own page. We glued a ticket onto the page as there wasn't enough space for a flyer.
Simple, not so pretty, but a lotta work went into it and I'm happy to have completed it.
Mia loves to pull it out and explain everything to people who will sit and look it over. Good night all.

Bravo Kari! How do you say that in Aussie...good on ya...mate? Very nice, very down to earth in that it does seem doable, yet I'm VERY sure it was heaps of work just the same. I'll have to say it looks extremely bona fide! Too bad I can't pick your brain for more on this type of stuff next week, weep. xxx
Oh, and Mia, you're one smart cookie. Good for you for applying yourself to your studies! Thank you for reading to Ray-ray when we visit. He reminds himself to practice and make progress in his reading so he can 'read to kids like Mia'.
Oh, I can't decide whether I'm soo happy for you or soo sorry for myself. ha ha!! I didn't want to look at this post in the middle of my busy day least I get too discouraged & have another weeping spell. GREAT JOB, KARI!! I love it. I must begin on my kids soon. XXX
Thanks ladies,
I really didn't do much except collect the materials & do the layout of the photos. I can't take any credit for the records or anything cos I wasn't the one teaching her last year.
Wow... awesome work Kari! good motivation...
Ur an awesome teacher/parent! I love coming to your blog! Inspiring!
