Princess Mia: The baby has been born!

Hi, I hope you will have fun as you will read this. This is Mia talking.

Here is Mommy and she got the baby out -WOW!
"Oh dear -help!", I was
going to say but all that came out of my mouth was "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" then it was so so so so wow!

and I held the baby. Oh you should have seen her!

Here I am with the doctor.
I do know that you will be happy

I love her so much! I did think that it will be a boy but a girl is much better for me -ha!

Hi but this is me ha! Have fun.

Here is Nanni holding the baby. She came from Australia to see the baby being born.

Me, Daddy, baby, and mummy.

P.S. by mum:
Alisa Oceana was born on October 9th at 10:56am, exactly one week overdue.
Weight: 3834 gm
Length: 52 cm

Mia attended the delivery along with my mum (Nanni) & of course daddy. Daddy drove safely the whole way & even coached me on my breathing even though I got to the point where I wished he'd use his horn, run red lights and do some fancy driving.
I was rushed up to the delivery ward on a stretcher & baby was born about 5 mins after arriving at the hospital. Mia said: "I was worried because I thought the baby was going to come out there (in the car)!"

Daddy and the girls came to visit and the girls were so happy they sang as they left the building!

Princess Chia: My Bunny Ears craft!

Hi this is how to make bunny ears!

Step 1: Gather your materials. First you need toilet paper rolls, newspaper, PINK paint, glue, tissue and bobby pins.

Step 2: Cut your toilet paper roll in half and shape them into ears. (sorry, no photo)

Step 3: Paint them PINK!

Step 4: Put glue on the inside of the bunny ears.

Step 5: Rip up the tissue

Step 6: roll the tissue into balls and put it in the bunny ears.

Step 7: Let them dry

Step 8: Get a grown up to cut two little holes in each ear like this:

Step 9: Get a grown up to put the bobby pins in the ears and in your hair like this:

Step 10: Pose with your Bunny Ears! You're all done!

Princess Mia: Nagashi Somen Party

One of my classmates invited me to a summer "nagashi somen" party. We took our own cups, hashi's & bowls and a cake to share with everyone. It was so much fun. There was lots of yummy tempura, and other things to eat but mummy didn't take photos of it all. It was so hot all day.

Here's my friends house & the nagashi somen bamboo thing they set up.

Chia with hashi's at the ready!

Catchit!

Here's a youtube video showing how it's done:

This is where they made kaigori. Do you like it? It's so yummy and perfect on a hot day. We all ate it 5 or 6 times until the ice ran out.

Chia eating hers

My friends and I

See the long line? Can you guess what it's for?

Fairy floss! It was the first time I ate it.

Chia was so happy she did a dance.

It was a fun day and I hope they invite us next year.

Mia worked hard all afternoon & decorated this cake for me & her aunt Dawn by herself & of course her sisters had to get in on the photo. They kept jumping in at the last minute, as you can see.
